Akmal still can't hold on to his catches!

    Sir

    Waiting for your match analysis.....

The match could have finished much earlier if Akmal and Ajmal had held on to the catches on the bowling of Afridi and Rao, both bowlers were unlucky as Saeed Ajmal dropped easy catches, the one which Kamran Akmal dropped was a faster one and Kamran Akmal's poor reflexes were too slow for it.

It was a huge blunder to drop Fawad Alam.

All three pacers bowled well but Tanvir was literally unplayable in his first spell. He has matured a lot and now can swing both ways.

233 was not a bad total considering that it was a large boundary and there was movement for the fast bowlers, Chanderpaul tried to shift gears too late his only chance was against the spinners,he tried his best to put away Gul and Tanvir but couldn't succeed. Also the fact that with the exception of Gayle there were no power hitters in the Caribbean team Dwayne Bravo, Smith and Ramdin all of them for some reason have not been selected for this tour.

Salman Butt again proved himself to be a flat track bully.

Pakistan team chased a big total the other day and defended a small total in todays game clearly shows that they were the better team in this series.

I liked the chemistry of the Pakistan team while fielding something which was missing while they were batting. If they play as a unit they are still a force to be reckoned with, Today in the absence of Fawad Pakistan missed Yousuf badly but if Fawad was playing I think his absence wouldn't have been felt to this extent.

Fawad is a useful player but I would remove either Manzoor or Butt to play Fawad. Since Butt is the established opener I would remove Manzoor but still keep opportunities open for Manzoor in the near future. Anyone of Malik, Afridi or Akmal can be used to open with Butt.

I think it was important to go with Ajmal because this track is supporting spin. Afridi's batting is not working but his bowling is decent.

Pakistan could have lost this match if West Indies had one more good batsman. If you get Gayle, Sarwan and Chanderpaul out it's like getting 75% of their team out. I don't think Pakistanis should be very proud of their performance so far. Everyone needs to raise their game, particularly the top order batsmen. In bowling Umar Gul has to work harder and become a genuinely consistent wicket-taking bowler.

Wasim, I think it was a good idea to bring in Ajmal instead of Fawad. Fawad is more of a batsman and with Tanvir at 8 I think we have a long enough batting line..wat Pakistan lack is the 6th bowler and Fawad cannot do that job.. so he had to make way for Ajmal..

Khansahab, u suggest dropping one of the openers to bring in Alam and open with Malik or Afridi or Akmal - I wouldnt support this idea as specialist openers are important.

Afridi and Akmal should be kept away from that position - they r too valuable down the order..

As for Malik.. I have wanted this in the past but right now when a few good specialist openers are available, I think its better to play them.
