Sports Pundit at the New Cricket Temple

There's a new pundit in town.

Its the Sports Pundit!

You heard that right. Sports Pundit.

The folks over there have set up their own sports temple providing updates about all sports including the latest cricket news from around the world along with a host of other stuff like forums for discussion, exclusive articles, and team and player profiles.

What appealed the most to me though was their IPL Fantasy League.

The Indian Premier League is in itself a fantasy cricket tournament with the likes of Mukesh Ambani, Shahrukh Khan, Vijay Mallya, and corporate henchmen putting their heads together to build a team comprising of leading cricketers from around the world.

For people like me, active on fantasy cricket leagues on the web, the IPL was a dream come true - It was a real budget, real players, and real teams.

I have been playing fantasy cricket for a long time and never did I think that such an excercise would come to life and change the cricketing world forever.

The IPL did just that.

But now, fantasy cricket lovers, have the chance to take part in the mother of all fantasy leagues in the one being offered by Sports Pundit.

You will be the boss and bring together a team from the teams formed by the leading personalities in India.

Buy KP from Mallya, JP Duminy from Ambani, Chris Gayle from Shahrukh Khan, Yuvraj Singh from Preity, Viru from GMR, Gilchrist from Deccan Herald, Dhoni from India Cements, and Warnie from Shilpa Shetty and rule the roost!

If you win the competition you will get yourself 2 free tickets to travel to England for the T20 World Cup in June!

Now that's some incentive.

There are weekly prizes to be won too in the form of IPL team T-shirts.

But what interests me the most is the Mini-Leagues.

The best Mini-League, comprising of atleast 10 fantasy teams, will win a bat and a ball for each member.

Now here's what I would like all of you to do.

Hop on to Sports Pundit and register yourself.

Check out what the game is all about.

As the IPL kick-off date nears, I will create a Mini-League, and give you all access to it.

Let this be the coming together of the blogging cricket brains.

Check it out and see what I'm talking about - The Sports Pundit IPL Fantasy Cricket League.
