Dwayne Bravo hogged the limelight last night and all the headlines this morning; deservedly so with his match winning performance against India.
But one man who deserved a lot more credit than he got, was Lendl Simmons.
Two of Bravo's four wickets came through Simmons' outstanding catches, including the exceptional one of Gambhir.
Has to be one of the best catches I've seen.
Then his 44 off 37 deliveries provided the perfect platform for Bravo to launch into India's attack.
Today, Simmons decided to set that right and keep all the headlines to himself.
He almost took the West Indies home single handedly against South Africa.
All by himself.
He had no support, but despite that, he went about it with ease, smashing the South African bowlers all around the Oval in a belligerent knock of 77 off only 50 deliveries.
It wasn't meant to be today, but the day is not far when we will hear of some cricket team being LENDLED!
It always is a treat to watch an exciting new West Indian batsman.
