Good stuff Q. I think it was a combination of a settled side and the Razzaq effect.

Early on, we were searching for an opening pair in bowling and batting and that extra paceman. We were also searching for the right batting order.

Razzaq eased these problems but also brought his experience to the side. This would have had an all round effect on the other players too as anyone who has played team sport would know, when you bring in someone you can rely on and know exactly what you will get from them, it settles everyone down.

Your right Stani.. it all fell into place for Pakistan.. Yasir got injured, Razzaq got a recall just in time.. Butt didn't fire, Shahzaib got a game.. the XI and the orders all fell into perfect place for YK and Pakistan never looked back!

like 1992, an amazing turnaround story..
