The Teesra...
Over at the ICL, Saqlain Mushtaq, the inventor of the doosra (the second / other one), is busy showing the world his new delivery - the teesra! (the third one).
What he does is, is that he holds the ball with an offspinner's grip, but instead of the open-end of the hand facing the cover region (off side for a right handed batsman), it faces the midwicket region (the leg side for a right handed batsman).
Can you picture that? I tried to explain it the best I could.
And then he delivers the ball by rolling his fingers over it and the resulting delivery is more like a top spinner.
It's gotten him plenty of wickets so far in this ICL season - 2-19 and 3-26.

Thank God you moved on from that pornography thread....
:)
The teesra sounds a bit like a leg spinner with less wrist action. Like an accentuated leg cutter.
It should be easy to read from the hand too.
Wickets in T20 are hardly difficult to come by especially when tailenders are trying to score 12 an over.
Regardless, I'll be watching him closely in Lahore's next match!
The other other one?
I love Saqy and i don't love many offies.
He was bowling half an hour ago against Delhi, Nesta.
As was Inzi - left arm spinners.. he even dived across the pitch to stop a straight drive. Always lovely to c Inzi do that.
And u r right Nesta, its like leg spinners grip, only the other way and definitely easy to read but as they say, its one thing reading it, and another playing it.
Yep JRod - the other other one. U can't put it more aptly.
As an offie, why would you bowl a top spinner with this grip rather than the other way round? I don't get it.
He bowls it with the other grip as well Gonzo.
Re-inventing the ball.
Even if he develops a chowtha it will be of no use as he is done, he is not the same bowler anymore.
