Random Pakistan Cricket Fact #4

In honor of Javed Miandad's 52nd birthday on June 12th, here's a fairly well known fact about him.

Miandad is one of only two cricketers (who played 20 or more innings) whose test average never, ever dipped below 50.

Click here for Cricinfo's stats of his cumulative average.

The only other batsman to achieve this feat is Herbert Sutcliffe. Here's his cumulative average listing. Actually, Sutcliffe's average never dropped below 60!

Happy Birthday Javed!

Is he also the only one to hit a six off the last ball to win a ODI match? or T20 Match, for that matter?
I remember Asif Mujtaba hit a six to tie a match.

@raj: I know Chanderpaul hit a six off the last ball against Sri Lanka last year to win.

Asif Mujtaba did tie a game. And I know Bevan hit a four to win against West Indies.

Yep Chanderpaul did it off Vaas.. also a full toss sent over mid wicket!

He hit a 4 and a 6 off the final 2 deliveries and Windies won by 1 wkt.. was watching LIVE.. wat an end that was!

Asif Mujtaba has also won one game with a 6 I reckon.. or has he tied two?

I think Abdul Qadir as well. I'm going to look this up.

    Not sure of any others.

This is the one Mujtaba tied with a 6:

He also won a game off the penultimate ball but not with a 6:

This is the Qadir match I'm talking about:

But the 6 came of the 4th delivery. Won by 1 wkt off the final ball!
