What Would You Like to be Remembered As?

Most famous people are asked that question at least once in their lifetime.

Almost every interviewer has that question up their sleeve for the celebrities.

You must have read a number of different answers to that question, such as:

"I would like to be remembered as the most talented actor in India."

"I would like to be remembered as an entertainer."

"I would like to be remembered as an actress and not just a sex symbol."

"I would like to be remembered as a man who served his country to the best of his abilities."

"I would like to be remembered as the fastest bowler in the world."

"I would like to be remembered as the best opener to play for Australia."

"I would like to be remembered as the next Imran Khan."

"I would like to be remembered as a cricketer who always gave his 200%."

But one thing that I am sure you would have never heard before is:

"I would like them to remember me as the craziest cricketer that ever played for Pakistan."

Now who would like to leave a legacy like that?

None other than the one and only Shahid Afridi!

Trust him to go against the norm and come up with something like that.

Make your pitch on this post...

Afridi is simply the coolest. People often go "well, the guy's Pathan, that explains the attitude" but actually it doesn't. Nobody comes close. He must've been a handful as a kid.

I like the response to the Kallis question.
    Thanks for sharing.

He's arrived at a point in his career where he can be honest about his cricket. Hope this leads to less nakharas.

He comes out with the best ones.

Last time he was being interviewed after he had played a typical boom boom innings and was asked to describe it. He said that he likes to play like its the highlights!

He must be a video editors dream!

    Naked Cricket,
The nakhara with his hair has just started!

Btw where is that Wasim Jal Gaya, he didn't make any comment about Fawad Alam?

Looks like the Karachi Bradman made Sialkothis look like club level cricketers where he made 168 and they scored hardly anything.

That is why I said these people should use a little bit of Burnol, to get cool and level headed. Giyareenbandi has failed. Yet again.

    Stani,

    LOL! I remember that..

In this interview, my favorite part was this:

I am a batsman, I always play good when I am imagining batting, but I always mess up when I play in reality. What should I do to improve my batting?
    (Atif)

Shahid Afridi: (laughs) I think you should keep on imagining.
