Move over Bollywood, its time for Hollywood at the IPL!
IPL's first season took place in India, hence naturally besides the cricket, it was Bollywood that was used to entertain and attract the crowd.
Besides team owners Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta, the likes of Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and many others made their presence felt during last year's IPL.
Now that South Africa is hosting the Indian Premier League's 2nd season, Bollywood may not be as big an attraction as it would have been in India.
Moreover, with the top Bollywood personalities busy with their schedules in Mumbai, they may not even be in South Africa.
With this in mind coupled with the largely western community of South Africa, the IPL organizers have gone a step ahead.
Instead of Bollywood, they have looked towards Hollywood!
I have been told by a very reliable source that none other than George Micheal, Clint Eastwood, and Morgan Freeman will be a part of IPL's opening ceremony, which is just about a week away!
Move over Bollywood, its Hollywood time!
SRK has some competition!
